Discover the wonder, thoughtfulness and sometimes scandal of the portraits of the Archibald Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

With the Archibald’s $100,000 prize in mind, artists from across the country create works that reflect JF Archibald’s requirement of ‘preferentially of some man or woman distinguished in art, letters, science or politics’

Enjoy finalists in the Wynne, Sulman and  Young Archie (by children and teenagers aged 5-18 years) competitions for a full rounded experience for all ages.
