The winds of change are certainly in the air at Urban Hotel Group (part of Erdigroup Hotel Collection) as both the St Leonards and Brisbane properties came under new leadership effective Monday 10 April, 2017.

Picking up the reigns in Brisbane is Kumar Ellawalla, who made the move North to Queensland from his time as GM at Hotel Urban St Leonards. Kumar has a long history with Erdigroup, and returned to the group from a small hiatus overseas to manage the North Sydney Hotel, bringing his own unique and creative management style to Brisbane.

Moving in to lead the team at Hotel Urban St Leonards, is John Dickson, former GM of The Swanston Hotel, Grand Mercure and Mercure Welcome Melbourne hotels, also part of the Erdigroup Collection.
